OBender by Evgeniy Korniloff (formely: QChess) as x64?

Post by Norbert Raimund Leisner »

Hello together,

recently I saw in the Arena-Forum http://www.playwitharena.com
> "Engines, Links" OBender remarked with "x64."

But for me it is not clear if such a 64-bit version generally exists and can be downloaded in a public chess forum.

I asked Evgeniy via email , but I have got no reply from him.

Can you tell me, if 3.2.4x or 3.2.4.2 is the actual version of OBender?
Or do you know URL´s with x64 versions of OBender?

Thanks for your help!

Best wishes,
Norbert

Hi Norbert,

As far as I can tell 3.2.4x is the most recent version. Think of it as the bleeding-edge development version, while 3.2.4.2 is the last tested and stable version.

The source code of an older version of OBender is available so you can always make a 64-bit compile out of it.

I compiled (and bug-fixed) the last version of Obender that was open source (v3.24) which included a 64-bit compile.
I will put it back up on my homepage, but in the meantime you can download from the link below >
