Crossover / Wine and SMIRF

Post by smrf »

Is there any interest to have SMIRF also being able to run on Mac by CrossOver or on Linux by Wine?

Would it make sense to write a UCI GUI having such an ability?

I just tried to install your free Smirf and run it on Ubuntu 8.10, using wine, and a first impression is, that it works fine, of course with short testing only.

Hope this helps

Thank you for trying it with Linux, I myself still have not done this yet. Instead I am just testing a slightly adapted version at Mac Crossover, and it seems to work and look acceptable there.
