Tell me about new software Peshka

I just downloaded a demo on Convecta's site called Peshka. I think it will be the new interface for Convecta's software.

But is Peshka a stand alone program? (though it is called a demo?)

It looks very nice to me, but I know nothing about it so far. Is there a manual for it?

You all are more up on computer programs than I am. so if you could let me know what you think I would appreciate it.

In the website www.chesscafe.com Dadi Jonsson has wrote 2 or 3 articles about this software. Peshka will be the new interface where the training courses from chessok will run. For example ct art, chess endings, encyclopedias of middlegames will all run under the same interface, also you could buy and download the courses from internet instead of waiting for a cd to arrive at your home. Anyway Jonsson explained it better in chesscafe.

BTW,I noticed that you ask a lot about tutorial chess software,my question is....do you play the chess engines on regular basis like me or you prefer to play the poor humans

By the way Susan, have you looked at CT-ART 3.0. It is very good for tactical training also. You can get the standalone version or the Peshk@ module version. The price is the same ($25).

Ted, I have Ct Art beginner. It is really good. But with Peshka, would the interface change to Peshka's instead of the old Ct-Art?

What is the advantage of getting Peshka?

Right now the courses are the same but with peshka all chess ok softwares will run under that peshka interface, no need to install new things to your computer. If you already have CT art you do not need the peshka interface, later they will release new or actualized courses or that is the plan, you could read more about peshka in the aquarium sub forum of rybka.
