WinChloe 3.0 released

Post by Michael Diosi »

Hi,

A new version of the WinChloe (3.0) Database/Solver has been released.
You can order it here:

http://winchloe.free.fr/wc.html

You can use UCI engines in it :)

Have fun,
Michael

Yes, if you have lots of money and don't know what to do with it!
"WinChloe costs 200 Euros."

But there is also a 'light' version:
"WinChloe light allows only to browse the main Database, using eventually filters and queries like in WinChloe. But it is not possible to record nor to solve problems. And the interface is only in French (help in English).
WinChloe light costs 40 Euros."

Really a bargain for a simple database browser, isn't it?

Hi,

I know it's expensive. It is quite nice and unlike ChessBase software updates are free. Imagine getting the MegaBase/BigBase for free for years and years and each new ChessBase version...

Yes, maybe we should also make 'light' versions of our engines (i.e. which don't make any move) and sell them for 40 bucks ...
