Mediocre 0.34 problem

Running under ChessGUI as a winboard engine (won't ork for me as a uci engine), all is fine when it is playing as White. However, when playing as Black, the first move out of book is made almost instantly at a very shallow search depth. Not sure if it displays the same problem under Arena. I'm using a generic book.

Solved the problem. Have to install it as a UCI1 engine with the command line parameter "u".

Have you tried the "x" parameter for winboard/xboard mode?

No, but at least I have Mediocre working okay now.
