Position for humans

Post by CRoberson »

I missed a good move in a game with a comp (sw not hw) today. In the following position, I did not move BxB due to NxB because I wanted to
keep the pressure up.

[d] Nn4k1/1p3p1p/2b3p1/6P1/2Pq3N/6P1/PP2r1BK/1R5R b - - 0 25

I should have been happy if white responds to BxB with NxB. Can you tell me why without a computer.

1... Qe4
2.Rbg1 Qf3 (with the idea of Qh5# and keeping on eye on g2)
3.Kh3 Rxg2
4.Rxg2 Qh5#

or
1... Qe4
2.Rhg1 Rxg2
3.Rxg2 Qxb1 -+

Qxh4 winning a piece looks best to me. I am sure there is a mate attack. Fu@k no it is a mate in 2.

Charles thats the way to sizzle, Sizzle Charles! :D
