Merlin 2.3.1 (WB) under Arena 2.0.1 and CA 10

Hello,

Merlin 2.3.1 makes (in contrast to v2.0 beta) no moves under Arena-GUI.

The embedding into Chess Assistant 10 professional version by Convekta
failed, too. GUI crashes with the annotation "internal error".

Therefore I contacted the author, but got no answer from him until today.

Who has still the previous version Merlin 2.0 beta?

Gabor - roughly how strong is Merlin 2.3.1? Can you give the names of some other engines that are close in strength to it?

I'd guess it's somewhere between 2400 and 2500.

See edited message. Also pls note that Merlin has a bug when using external book which spoils its time usage and weakens its results.
