Hello friends !
Currently i test Zappa Mexico II x64 on playchess server and noticed that (even on winning positions) Zappa lost many games due to Nalimov tablebases (i have installed DVD Endgame Turbo 3 on my USB-Stick)
Does anybody know about this issue or any recommendation for the right tablebase setting ?
BTW,the default Zappa engine's TB setting is:TB Min Depth :4
Conditions:
I7 920@ 4.0GHz
Win XP x64
Hashtablesize:128 MB
TB Cache:16MB
Thanks,
Sedat

See thread:

My problem was related to using a partial set of 6-man TBs. Maybe you're seeing likewise?! For Zappa it appears that all derived 6-man TBs must also be in place, whereas some other engines do not require this.
I didn't get round to downloading all the derivates and now only use 5-man TBs with Zappa in case of issues. I use the partial 6-man with Rybka 3.

Yes, some engines have issues with partial sets. Best to stick to 3-4-5 men only.
