Finally I am back!

Post by Nimzovik »

:D I finally figured out why my log in did not work (after I lost my info from a HD wipe) after 6 plus months! Yay. No need to respond to this note. I am now free from the madness of being stuck on that other forum!! Yay again! :D

No reaosn for joy I say....the sectarians will hunt you down and I am afraid that you've left with two options:
Either you get back there or you stay here and you're a dead meat....
Heretic regards,
Dr.D

P.S.You did come back from Rybka forum,or.... :?:

I for one for what ever alleged faults this forum has or has not still find this forum a stimulating and knowlegeble forum. I also note that this forum did not come into existence due to a fan club of one particular engine and ergo I find it to be more objective in this regard. Yes the Rybka forum was my last main forum. I mean to cast no slur upon those there despite having encountered a number of ...hostile types which is the bane of many forums. I thank goodness for such however as I for one am somewhat loathing of 'politcal correctness' run amok. Heresies are comitted on every forum by their standards. Such is life. I have beeen following the engine which shall be unamed closely. To date I have found your perspective, Herr Dr., to be the more valid one IMHO which is humble indeed as my knowlege of such matters is somewhat limited. Will we ever know for sure? Even if unrefutable evidence is presented that eliminates one perspective or the other the debate will continue to rage regardless.

Thanks,I appreciate that :D

BTW,today I was hit with a wit towel on my face when I learned the price of the new deep version of Rybka....125$ :!: :!:
I qualify this as an act of desperation from Vasik Rajlich....he's feeling it in his bones that the dominancy of Rybka is almost over and he's trying to grab whatever his pocket can fill before his product get surpassed....

Logic, common sense and the future will prove me right....

To me that price is purely a rumour, and I've seen nothing to substansiate it so far. I doubt ChessBase will try to sell a "deep" package at that price too, so it's my belief that we're still at the old prices, and that will be my belief till we see something different.

It should be noted that the CCC..established in 1997.. was the very FIRST forum devoted to computer chess..
and remains.. even to this day..the only forum on the Internet where the moderators are elected by its members and not appointed from "above"

Engines have come and gone..
Active members have come and gone ...
but through thick and thin ..the forum has survived and indeed thrived.. through-out the decades...

Welcome Back Regards
