Anyone getting hacked?

I am curious....When I log onto the Chess Assistant Club chess server I continually see a great deal of Bytes sent and recieved on my Computer Internet connection......curious.... :?: :shock: I scan my system with 2 diffferent Anti -virus programs and Ad Aware and Spyware blaster but nothing shows up.....

If you install a firewall, then will be able to know which app is in-out.
You will be asked if you want tp block it or allow it

Most internet security suites have firewalls nowadays.

Yes.... I have a firewall (software) however that is not the real issue here. The real issue is that I do not have this stated issue on other chess servers (playchess.) IMHO It is encumbent upon the server to adhere to a certain standard of quality. :!: :!: :!:

Alex,

I believe that this is the Chess Assistant server checking what else you have running on your PC, as their method of preventing cheating by using software assistance. When you initially install the client it sets this up on your PC. As soon as it detects a chess engine running it will put a (c) by the player's name.

I would like to believe this however as I have mentioned I do not see this kind of activity of SO many bytes being recieved and sent when logged on only at this said site. Also I do NOT have this issue on FICS, Playchess, or other serers I have used ion the past.
