Looking for a Java engine

Post by chessguy »

I'm looking for an engine that's:
  • * written in Java
    * fairly strong
    * open source
Any suggestions?

OliThink is the best that I can come up with.

You can go to the Chess Engines List
http://computer-chess.org/doku.php?id=c ... ngine_list

Use your browser to search the page for "Java source". You'll find some Java engines. I believe that OliThink and Frittle are the two strongest.
