Re: Test Position
If 8 procs are not enough try 16 procs.
You will get 50 million nps.
kind regards

Re: Test Position
Had some problems with it because my "improved" Stockfish razoring started not to detect some of the draws by stalemate, so at the end of the Nxb3 line you would see the King taking the Rook and scoring it as -4.22 and then the score going further and further down until the program stopped playing Nxb3 entirely. I've patched it up a little but I'm not sure about the best way of doing it, maybe I have to redo the razoring again, but there are already so many changes done.
I still don't understand why it would not see stalemate! Quiescence search can't detect stalemate if it does not try to generate all the moves, I understand but why is that only a problem in my version of razoring and not elsewhere? Grr. Anyway, the last version is keeping the Nxb3 line it seems, that is something. But those fast machines some people are using make it difficult to compare the results and Rainbow Serpent is not really built for speed! I have decided to also store the stalemates in the Transposition Table where Stockfish only returns immediately with the draw value but I'm storing it as an exact value, that goes at the expense of other entries but it did give a tiny bit of extra speed here, as you would expect. But maybe that is overdoing it. I am glad though I found one version that did not throw away the stalemate draw!

Re: Test Position
It might be the razoring but it could be nullmove too.
