The strength of clowns

It appears, that the clowns are almost always stronger than the originals. In this case, Programmers, you know what you have to do, clowns clowns.:-)

For some reason my observation is exactly opposite! In my short "cloning" career I've seen dozens of clones and very few of them are considerably stronger than original.

Obviously the strong ones are getting much more attention than weak ones.

The case of cloning is a circus, it has nothing to do with chess!
