Well, he has done the only right thing - leaving a forum where a moderator bans a member with the following words:
"You have been banned for a period of for being stupid and basically an asshole ..."

That was because a moderator asked an insulting poster whether he preferred to keep an edited post or resubmit it. Bob would have deleted it without asking.
