small problem with Komodo

the Komodo engine is great but there is a small problem.

i can not use this engine for analysis under chessassistant 7 because CA7 says Komodo is not an uci engine, old uci standard in CA7?
you can download free CA7 demo for testing.

some few other engines have same problem.

will be there an update for Komodo?
or must i update to CA 11?

Better update to a newer version....

there was also a problem with igorrit but then they made an update, and it works now.

CA 11 comes maybe very late with rybka 4.

Yeah I know,but CA7 is way too ancient....

Komodo does the same thing in the Shredder 12 GUI. It won't function in the analyze game mode.

Oh and the Deep Fritz 10 I ordered from amazon? It WASN"T deep fritz! So I sent it back. I must learn those two old maxims:

1) Let the buyer beware

and

2) If it is too good be true it probably isn't!

I might look on ebay or something. I don't want Fritz 11 or 12. Based on your comments I think I would have fun with Fritz 10! Que sera sera.

We've already fixed the problem (for the next release) that makes Komodo not work in certain modes in Aquarium; maybe the fix will solve these other problems as well.

We're waiting for the release
