Golden age of chess

In 1999 Nunn published his Chess Puzzle book. There is a chapter in the book where he describes how he took a Fritz 5 and analyzed the Karlsbad Tournament of 1911. He determined that the tournament was played at a 2150 elo and said ---" I can confidently state that Hugo Suchting strength was not over elo 2100."

I''ve never heard anyone challenge his conclusions. How accurate was his assessment? :?:
