GCC 4.5

GCC 4.5 was released recently adding link time optimizations. Is there any improvement to the speed of open source chess engines if compiled with it?

Have been waiting to give this a try. The LTO options were unavailable on the beta versions of gcc-4.5, at least on the betas for Mac OSX. Thanks for letting us know.
