What do you think?

The price is really tempting.

Very tempting indeed especially when you factor in price/performance, but I am waiting for 8 core model.

Sorry from deviating but when do Intel's octocores come out? Note not the Xeon processors.

Later this year? Next year?

I think I will. I was considering (almost bought) an i5 quad, but this seems to be a better deal. I will wait 2-3 weeks to see if there is any problem or hear comments about motherboards etc.

Good luck. I'd agree that this is a much better deal than an i5 quad.

I wonder how far you can overclock these things.... :)
