Deep Rybka 4 not doing so well

Hardware: Q6600 Quad core
Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 64
64 games played

Ivanhoe-B 63 Mod 12c +14/-11/=39 vs DR 4

Level: Blitz 1/1
Hardware: C2D
Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 64
64 games played

Houdini +17/-14/=33 vs DR 4

I will try some 30+5 games next.

Are you using the default settings? Is Large Page off?

Using Large Page is not easy, so unless you have managed to enable it in Windows, it won't do anything.

At 1+1 against one of the clones, you may find a time setting such as 60 instead of 80 at Normal Move to be far more effective.

Your assessment mirrors that of others that R4 is 60-80 ELO stronger than R3 which is a success when you consider its Fruit origin--it has come a long way.

Yes large pages are on. It took awhile to figure out how to do it but I did.

Solid results for DR 4. I assume the program is set up for longer games instead of shorter ones.

Hi Albert,

Do you have a link for Large Pages in Windows?
I thought Large Pages could only be enabled in Linux...
