I haven't done much in terms of engine matches, so pardon this question if it is too simplistic.
I'd like to run engine matches from certain starting positions, say 1. e4 c5 2. d4 cxd4 3. c3 and see what the results might be. All engines playing from the same start.
Is there an easy way to do something like this?
I'd like to do it for a few openings, like 1. d4 Nf6 2. Bg5 and so on.
I toyed around a bit and couldn't figure out how to implement this.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can solve this one.

Re: Super Simple Question for Engine Matches
Create an openings suite. Essentially, it is a normal database, usually in PGN format. Create a database, and enter the games. Each game will contain the moves you want played. In the following link, which was a piece I did on a suite I made, you will find instructions at the end on how to run matches between two engines using a suite. Instructions will vary depending on the interface you use obviously.LiquidNitrogenOverclocker wrote:I haven't done much in terms of engine matches, so pardon this question if it is too simplistic.
