Hi there,

I made the configuration for 4 new updates for the next SWCR-64 tournament!

920, 880, 840, 800 = 3.440 games to play : 280 games per day ...
This tournament will be run around 12 days

Code: Select all

Updates:
095. x64 GullChess 1.0 NEW Started: 26.09.2010 (replaced Cippolito 3.25 x64)
094. x64 IvanHoe B52aC NEW Started: 26.09.2010 (replaced Houdini 1.03a x64)
093. x64 FireBird 1.1 Dr. Deeb I NEW Started: 26.09.2010 (replaced Fire 1.31 x64)
060. w32 Hiarcs 13.1 Again Started: 26.09.2010 (replaced Crafty 23.3 JA x64 NP - no Ponder version)
IvanHoe and Firebird are playing with 4-pieces Total / Triplebases!

Hiarcs 13.1 w32 will play in SWCR-64 for a better ELO calculation in SWCR with all w32 / x64 games.

The LIVE table will be available Sunday in the evening.

Hi there,

sorry, I mean Cipollino 3.25 x64, not Cippolito :-)

One engine for each programmer, so Equinox 0.83 x64 (a little bit stronger) will be play the next games in SWCR-64.

Hi Wael,

let us see :-)

Yesterday I config the 4 new engines. I had some problems with IvanHoe T04 Beta 4 and the TotalBases / TripleBases (no auto load with engine start).

I test some others on one of my notebooks.
I think IvanHoe B52aC seems interesting.
Good time management, auto load from the endgame tablebases, no ponder problems. I played 20 games (game in 5 minutes) vs. GullChess 1.0 x64 and watched the time management and so on.

After an other test of positions I saw a better performance as Houdini 1.03a had.

With other words ...
Unclear which one is the best of IPP familiy. Too many versions, but perhaps your setting or one of the newer IvanHoe's. Must not be Houdini 1.03a.

At the moment after around 900 of 920 games Houdini 1.03a x64 have exactly 10 ELO more as Rybka 4 x64.

GullChess 1.0 works fine with ponder too. So I can test the engine for SWCR.
