Operating system: Microsoft Windows XP 64 Bit Professional Service Pack 2 (Build 3790)
All engines 1 CPU
Arena 2.0.1 GUI
128 Hash Tables
3-4-5 EGTBs
Ponder off
Book CCRL-10moves (7.084 starting positions from the 40-40 archive where both engines were rated 3000+ and the eval after a dozen moves was ∞/= or +/=), each pair plays the same position with switched colours.
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted to the CCRL 40/40 standard)

Myrddin climbs up to position 182 from position 193 with the 0.83k 64-bit version (now 2173 in CCRL 40/40 1CPU), showing an improvement of 70 ELO points regarding the 0.83 32-bit version, 3 ELO points behind BigLion and 8 ELO points ahead Protej.

This ELO increase confirms the testing done by myself and two others (who reported increases between 70-85 ELO).

Thanks for saying so, although probably the most "pleasure" you can get from it is that, from everything I'm told, it never gives testers any trouble. :wink:
