Nice that you follow ...
I saw great games too in the still running SWCR tourney.
Not important if your engine will make the latest place in SWCR. But I will follow your developement and add new versions in the future. Same for Tornado, like it too. I can't test all of the amateurs but I can try to follow the engine develops of differents amateurs.

Thanks for your great engine, nice to read your messages all the time.
Have fun with your own program, you can be sure people which useing it ... have it, means have fun !!

Hi Engin,

give the testers a little bit time.
Not so many new version, nobody can test it with longer time controls.

Version 4.1 works fine for me!

THANKS again for your release version!

yes, i know Frank, but its not make a sense to playing many games with a bug version, that is better to fix that bug and then testing again....

Hi Graham,

in SWCR all need a bit time :-)
At the moment I am testing 10 new versions simulatneous :-)

7.600 new games, one game need 40 minutes, 8 games are still running to the same time on 4 quad cores.

Need 30 days!
A lot to do here :-)

Thats computer chess live for engine testers, like that!

Sorry Engin,
but I thought the bugfix does not affect normal games:

Code: Select all

Tornado 4.1 bug fixed

this is a bug fixed version, that castling moves in Chess960 didnt playing from it self , and i generated a smaller book with better move quality (set min moves to 6, max half moves is by 50 enough), adjustable book generation now. i fixed a minor bug in eval king safety too.

I will wait with the tests for you new version now!

best wishes
Werner
