Hi there,

today the SWCR-32 toruney ended. A new SWCR-64 tourney started.

SF 1.9.1 JA w32 lost 5 ELO in the latest games. Rybka 4 w32 started a fantastic seria and won 3 ELO in the latest games. The advanted melted away from 11 to 3 ELO. But fact is, the SWCR-32 have with SF 1.9.1 JA w32 a new number 1.

Here are the final results (interesting is to compare SF 1.7.1 JA w32 with Rybka 4 w32):

I made some changes in the still running SWCR-64 tournament.

Now 10 updates are still running ...
WOW, 7.800 new games to play.
This need 30 days at the moment 27 days on 4 quad cores if 8 40 minutes games running on the same time.

Hi there,

I made some changes in my still running SWCR tourney.

Now 9.360 new games to play.
Tourney is still running since November 07th, 2010 up to around ~ December 14th, 2010

New is:
Zarkov 4.66 w32 (later I will add Zarkov 4.66 in SWCR-32 too).
Tornado 4.25 x64
Rybka 4 x64 Exp. 42 (setting I found in Rybka Forum)

The SWCR-64 is for me more experimental. So its quiet clear that I test here a little bit.

Hi there,

have a look on my actual tourney SWCR-64 LIVE table.
Great results after the first 150 games.
Monday in the afternoon the next LIVE ratings calculation is available, I think after 225 games for each of the new 12 engines.

I saw in the first games really a Rybka 4 version with a very aggressive middle game. Remis quote is 18% only!

It seems that this setting, I found in Rybka forum, give this engine a higher performance in early middle games.

Rybka 4 standard plays the first calculated moves very boring, not very aggressive. But this setting is just great.

Hi there,

not enough games for the 12 updates I added so far.
But clear is the actual Rybka 4 x64 Exp. 42 setting produced sensational results. Have a look on the remis quote. First reason for this high rating. Also very very aggressive Rybka 4 games. Much more aggressive as with the standard setting.

Congratulation to the Settig tester!
But clear is too, no enough games so far ...
So we have to wait ...

It's true that we need more games to be played,but anyway 35 elo over the default settings is really very good performance so far by Rybka 4 x64 Exp. 42

BTW,i have started testing Rybka 4 Exp 61 x64 T1 and currently performs with a score 85.34% of 116 out of 520 games

Hi Sedat,

much more important as "how many games" is the remis quote. After my prognosis its more probable that the rating go up as the rating drop. Reason is the remis quote in Bayesian calculation only. Means in the still running SWCR-64 tourney IvanHoe T0.5.4.1 x64 and Rybka 4 Exp. 42 have the same points but 31% Remis quote for IvanHoe and 19% Remis quote for Rybka = around 30 ELO more.

So it's interesting to know ...
Which Remis quote you have after your first games?

PS: I will test with the next SWCR-64 tourney the latest Exp. setting. After a short test the setting 42 is interesting, so I test exp. 42 at first. Means I have test different settings with the time control I used in SWCR-64 with standard positions. Best results I got with Exp. 42. But it can be a random!

I add directly 12 new engines in my SWCR-64 tourney.
This need time, to many games to play ... around 10.000!
So my tourney is still running up to December 14th, 2010.
