In the provided example Im using the new Houdini 1.5 but I have seen this across many engines. In the depth tab, the number on the left shows what I believe is the real depth and then slash and another number, what does that number mean? What do the pluses (+) mean? I have done a pretty bad job in paint in order to point them out.
If anyone can explain I will greatly appreciate it
Thanks.

The second depth is the maximum depth achieved (but not through full width search).
The + signs mean there was a fail-high (the program saw good news for his current choice).
The - signs mean there was a fail-low (the program saw bad news for his current choice).
