A personal remark about the CCRL

Post by ThatsIt »

Hi to all !

In my mind there is no need to blame the
CCRL for their decision not to test Houdini.
The CCRL makes a fine job in my view.

Best wishes,
G.S.

Thanks Gerhard for your kind words.
CEGT has always done a fine job too and continues to do so.

Cheers,
Graham.

I agree.

It is the good right of a private/voluntary testing group to define their criteria of what types of engines to test and what types not. One can disagree with the criteria, but without further consequence.

Personally i would be in favour of testing both R and I engines, or not to test either of them. This as the engine origins of both are dubious. Now it feels a bit like having double standards. But then again, it is only a personal idea, without any consequence for CCRL.

The amount of man hours it must take to do all the testing stuff on an on-going basis, must be huge. I take my hat off for that. I will follow the test results of CCRL with great interest as always.

Best regards,
Kaj
