LittleBlitzer 2.7 Released

Post by nthom »

New LittleBlitzer 2.7 low latency UCI tournament manager available.

Added some PGN support:
- Added option to output full PGN of games. Testing shows no measurable slowdown.
- Can read starting positions from PGN files.

Thanks Nathan. With the added PGN support, I will be able
to use LittleBlitzer more often.

LB crashes when I use a pgn of start positions. It works fine with
epds, but not pgns.

Can you send me the PGN you are using? Also it doesn't like spaces in the name of the path/file... I will fix that.

I use LB 2.6. It's not so buggy like 2.7
But I still have one question regarding LB and Critter
How can you explain such strange depth output by Critter  ?
Time = 440 sec elapsed, 3223 sec remaining
1. Critter 1.01 64-bit SSE4 6.5/12 4-3-5 (tpm=637.0 d=12.5 nps=2194558)
2. Rybka 4.1 x64 5.5/12 3-4-5 (tpm=717.9 d=14.1 nps=148430)
It's lower even than Rybka's depth! But this is untrue!
