M-Chess vs World 2: Tornado 4.4 entered the tournament...

Hi,

a week ago i met the author of the tornado engine at the famous thüringer computer chess tournament.

Now the engine will play the M-Chess Challenge....

1. Match is vs M-Chess Pro 8.0 (The Match vs M-Chess 7.1 is postponed because i have some troubles with M-Chess Pro 7.1 at the moment)

All games will be played with time control 40 moves in 120 minutes.....
Hash Tables 1 GB for tornado and 60 MB for M-Chess both engines play with their own book....

i follow your tournament of course, yesterday i look at the game MChess vs Tornado but its break in the midnight, so i dont know what the result ends finaly.

may you can post the results and games here we were very happy about that.

I had a computer crash while playing the 1. game of the Tornado M-Chess Challenge, so there is no result i have to repeat the game the next days.....

i plan to post result and games here, if you have the possibility to watch the games live then i can post the mchess evaluation and line so we can discuss about it....

yes, we arrived just on time in hof, i must wait only 10 minutes...

oh, thats pity that your mashine crashed, i had watched live on playchess the game, yes i have a access to playchess.de but can not into the mashine room (needs a serial number), because i am using a free version of playchess software.

i dont know if you knowing the Toms Chess Live Viewer ( http://home.pacific.net.au/~tommyinoz/tlcv.html )

you can broadcast your games and tournaments with it, Oliviier Deville used in for all his chessware tournaments, you need a server account to broadcast, i dont know really how thats works.

simple APP but it is possible to see all engine information with it live too
and we can chat online too

Hi,

after my computer crash i have some probleme with mchess due to the copy protection....so Chess System TAL 2.03 will play this challenge vs Tornado until i solved the mchess Problems...

Game will start on 9 PM munich time live on chessbase server

are planned, so Tornado will be tested in all fields of the game...have to play strong endgames vs Shredder and Mchess, good positional play vs Pro Deo and Fritz 8 and have to show what he knows about defending a king attack vs Gambit Tiger and Junior.....

i'm not sure at the moment that Tornado will survive all matches
