Wow, that was a pleasant surprise. May I ask how the winner was decided in the matches that ended 2.0 - 2.0?

Theoretically the higher rated engine should go through because Matthias hasn't implemented sudden death deciders yet. However, it seemed to me like pot luck, similar to toss of a coin.

I hope "Rated Tournament" and "SB/BH > Elo" are not enabled.
I may implement a security measure to make enabling "Rated Tournament" harder for user. "Rated Tournament" recalculates Elos after each game. :!:
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

Hi Matthias,

rated tournament is not enabled. I wonder if it's because I haven't assigned ratings to each engine? I just assumed (rightly or wrongly) that the order in which I entered the engines would be interpreted as the order of ratings from high to low.
Of course, implementing extra games to decide drawn matches would be the best solution, although I realise this would take up more of your time.

The order is irrelevant. It is the Elos of participants that matter.
