Re: ACG 13 broadcasting and programme
It seems as yet unclear if, how and where the WCCC games will be broadcasted. Jan Krabbenbos told me he will bring 4 DGT boards.
I took the liberty to prepair a website for broadcasting the WCCC, with 5 ChessLive! viewers, adapted to integrate move inputs from both players (so that scores and PVs from both players can be kibitzed in the same viewer). Each viewer has its own chat room. As far as I could test, everything seems to work.
Now the only thing left is to convince the participants to actually upload their moves and PVs there. I did prepare an FTP script for them that would do this automatically every 10 sec (for Windows).
For those that want to test: it is at

Re: ACG 13 broadcasting and programme
Thanks for preparing a website for broadcasting the WCCC. But so far it seems there are no WCCC games. Any problems? Or do I need to install something rather than providing the browser with the given url?hgm wrote:It seems as yet unclear if, how and where the WCCC games will be broadcasted. The ICGA stream works fine btw. Ingo Althöfer just prepared his ACG lecture. But no WCCC results

Re: ACG 13 broadcasting and programme
In contrast to last year, whare the majority of the participants was using WinBoard or XBoard, none of them is using it now. So there is no live feed of PV info, and the site will not work.
Jan has brought some DGT boards, so at least the moves can be followed over the internet. He has set up a website for that. I don't know the URL.
