I only take engines into consideration with a minimum elostrength of +-2000.
In my opinion, the elo ranking list of Chesswar is a good reference and there, Crux for instance, has an elo of 1033.
If the author of a weaker engine requests to participate, no problem to give him a wildcard though.
And do you know the difference between a true scandal and a debating point?

He-he-he man !
A true scandal is the arbitrary use of only three (from seven) Hungarian chess engines - in a tournament- without any debating point !
Dicit !
A nightmare night !
