Generally is a good classification of chess engines / countries. But they are also a lot of errors. For example : Plisk is listed like an USA engine but Vlad Stamate (the author) is Romanian .He is in USA for a limited period only. And Plisk first was developed in Romania. Arena listed -in a correct way - this engine being Romanian: http://www.playwitharena.com/?Engine_Li ... _-_Engines
Also the engine of Armand Niculescu -Sparkchess :
About Bagatur.I like a lot this Java chess engine. The best -in chess results- is Bagatur chess 1.1.1.Maybe has some bugs but is a lot stronger than 1.2b version. You can download all versions from here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bagatur ... turEngine/
Aah, interesting news if Plisk is a Romanian engine. It isn't clair for all engines to which country they exactly blong, like Dirty, Glass, Naum and others.
Where can I find your Bagatur and other tests? Normally I use the latest available version for my tournaments, but it's always good to know which version is the strongest one.
AAAAH, did you change your point of view about countrychess? Btw: when will you send me Pandix?
Anyway, I take your "suggestions" into consideration for the next edition.
