Two wonderful engines that are sadly overlooked by those who only have eyes for the very strongest.
Thanks for the match Ruxy. :)

Thanks Sylwy!
It's always a good motivation for us programmers to see that someone is using/testing our engines (well for me at least).
As for Arasan - it's MUCH more mature and MUCH better than cheng, blitz is 64-bit cheng's speciality :) Just try something longer or give Arasan more cores

PS There are many interesting engines: iCE, Hussar, Glass, Gaviota, Cuckoo, Dirty to name a few

Hi Martin !

1. I know ! Arasan is a long term love ! In my database I have a lot of long games versus The Baron , The King , Movei and many more. A very good engine , a nice GUI and a legend: Jon Dart !

I like to see Cheng-Arasan games in blitz.Very nice games !

2.-I have all these engines (extremely hard to find a chess engine missing in STASI collection  ). Cuckoo is -just now - in a long test together with all Java UCI chess engines. An enormous THANK YOU to Mr. Jim Ablett for his kindly help !

Well Martin , the next test for Cheng will be versus Chiron 1.1a in a very short TC . Chiron seems a very tactical engine.Cheng plays also well the tactical positions. Will be very intertesting !

All the best,
SilvianR
