Recognizing the Truth- Astounding Ivanhoe Version!!

Post by geots »

Getting prepared to take a break from the IvanHoe versions, when I received via email a version I had seen seen briefly, but not thought much about. I was told to include it in these matches- and it would not disappoint. Not sure about that, but I was certainly sure of the person who sent it. If he says it's gonna snow- I will dress for it.

So I thought I would give it a shot and share the results. It does not say whose compile it is when you run the exe, but from the lettering in the name and the "numbers setup", I would have to say it is almost certainly from Peter Pan. But I am willing to be corrected. Anyway....................

1CPU/32bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE (Rybka holding to Nalimovs)
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games

Ivanhoe B47f0.2 [PP?]........+70------+17/-7/=26-----60.00%-----30.0/50

Rybka 4.1............................ -70------+7/-17/=26-----40.00%-----20.0/50

True to his word- this Ivanhoe version tied Strelka 5.1 for the largest margin of victory over Rybka 4.1. The only IvanHoe version close was the "special doctored" version: 9.47cWHB, which came in at +63. Really no other IvanHoe versions, tho playing masterfully, were even close.

Enjoy,

So sorry Maestro George !

I must admitt - the angels give us - sometimes - apocalyptical test situations.
Can you imagine , Maestro George , in which nightmare lives the poor CCC member - Mr.Silvian R. - great art & computer chess & feminine chess lover ? Hard to imagine ! Take a look here , Maestro :

You think she is an angel ? Nope ! Just a diabolical GM mind from my town ! A second of art contemplation and a hell mate is over me ! :lol: What can I do ? And they are a lot of in this my damned art area..........

Psycho breakdown salutations,
SilvianR :wink:

PS: please excuse me for the above non computer chess test divagations ! Thank you !
