As described, this was an extremely interesting match. If Stockfish were a living person, I would say that he stood up to a program a bit stronger and scratched and clawed his way to a victory in a never-say-die match.
The only thing that remains a mystery to me may very well have been caused by Stockfish's play- if that even makes sense. Somewhere around the middle of the match, RobboLito inexplicably began thinking 3 to 4 ply depths less than he had in the first half of the match. This does not mean "every" game in the 1st half and 2nd half- just generally. At any rate- one good match:

Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games
Stockfish 2.1.1.........+7--------+13/-12/=25-------51.00%-------25.5/50
RobboLito 0.09.........-7--------+12/-13/=25-------49.00%-------24.5/50
No more silly comments from me here. The engines spoke for themselves.

Many people will not realize how great a victory this was for Stockfish. Perhaps when I have my 64bit box loaded, we will give them a try a that level. But do not underestimate what Stockfish accomplished here today.
