Tested Rodent 0.0.8, which is a derivative of Sungorus 1.4. A nice 227 elo increase, from the Sungorus 1.4 code base !

note that Rodent was slightly disadvantage by the bug I mentionned in another thread: the hash size should be an UCI option called Hash (notthing else, as it violates the UCI protocol|). So when I sent an

setoption Hash value 64

it was discarded, and Rodent used the built in default which is 16.

Cut a long story short: it played with 16 MB Hash i/o 64 MB. I don't think it would make a big difference, but it might cost something like 10-15 elo. So a bug fix there would be essential
