Stockfish 2.2 vs. Ivanhoe B47f0.2- Telling, Huh?

Ivanhoe B47f0.2 vs Stockfish 2.2 32bit

I thought this would be an excellent chance to test this new Stockfish version, as 12 days ago I posted the results from this same Ivanhoe version and Stockfish 2.1.1. In that match, Ivanhoe won by a +70 score.So here is the new Stockfish (with NO time losses):

1CPU/32bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games

Ivanhoe B47f0.2 [PP].......+70.......+19/-9/=22.......60.00%......30.0/50

Stockfish 2.2.................... -70........+9/-19/=22.......40.00%......20.0/50

So Stockfish 2.2 loses to this Ivanhoe version by the exact score that Stockfish 2.1.1 lost by: -70. I would guess that, allowing for an error margin, these versions are fairly close in strength. It was the author who told you not to expect some big strength increase.

Tho certainly the more games the better, the best indicator is always how they do against a common opponent.
