Stockfish 2.2.2 Put Thru the Wringer!

Post by geots »

Would "wringer" be correct? Or what about "ringer"? The hell with it. Got behind on posting as I was working on my 64bit system- so I have 4 Stockfish 2.2.2 matches to post. I would say it has nothing to be ashamed of- did quite well actually. Much, much better than 2.1.1 had done.

Note the specs are the same for all matches!

1CPU/32bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games

Stockfish 2.2.2 ............+42.......+17/-11/=22.......56.00%.......28.0/50

IvanHoe 9.47cWHB......-42........+11/-17/=22.......44.00%.......22.0/50

Stockfish 2.2.2............+14.........+13/-11/=26.......52.00%.......26.0/50

Ivanhoe B46e [PP].......-14.........+11/-13/=26.......48.00%.......24.0/50

Ivanhoe B47f0.2 [PP].......+7.........+10/-9/=31......51.00%.......25.5/50

Stockfish 2.2.2..................-7..........+9/-10/=31.....49.00%........24.5/50

And with a brand new RobboLito version:

RobboLito 0.10 SMP w32......+21......+14/-11/=25.....53.00%.....26.5/50

Stockfish 2.2.2.......................-21......+11/-14/=25.....47.00%.....23.5/50

All in all, a couple hundred good games.

Bye now,

Dr. D, I forgot to mention to you, but of course you could see in the specs, that all games ran on 1 core. However, you witnessed a milestone in computer chess. Tho run on 1 core, the new RobboLito version, just out recently, is the first MP version ever for Robbo. It has never been released in anything but SP prior to this.
