Although the following game in CEGT40/20 has an incorrect result, it does bring up the question of when you can offer a draw (according to the rules): "Can you offer your opponent a draw after you have checkmated him?"

[Event "40 Züge in 8 min"]
[Site "Werner"]
[Date "2011.08.02"]
[Round "21.3"]
[White "Pawny 0.2.2 x64"]

[Result "1/2-1/2"]
[EventDate "2011.??.??"]
[PlyCount "66"]

1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Nc6 4. e5 Nge7 5. Nf3 Nf5 6. Bb5 Bd7 7. Bg5 Be7 8.

Hi Norm,
thanks for finding this out. Looks like it was a game from my pc

Sorry - I do not know how can happen this. I will ask our Admin to find the game too in our db and correct it.

best wishes
Werner
