How to set up a new test environment

Post by Kempelen »

Hello,

I have reinstalled my computer from factory settings (Windows Vista). What things do you do in order to setting it up to be a test environment (I mean, if you tweak something, registry, dissable services or things like that) ?

I did nothing in the past with my last computer and I suspect there could be things that interfere cpu time, like automatic windows update.

Any help will be appreciated.

http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

http://www.mediafire.com/?152g6e563igc2ep

Saludos.

Apart from looking as regards energy, screensavers, hibernation.

A good trick is to use a program like IObit Game Booster:
http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html

but these new versions do not recommend them, I do not like, take too much control.
I offer an old notebook, I've uploaded myself:
http://www.mediafire.com/?152g6e563igc2ep
is trusted, but never this good a scan over.

The run and tells you what services you can take to improve performance, testing and if all goes well, open services and desabilitas permanently, then you no longer need to run the program.
It is quite comfortable.
Greetings.
