KOMODO v FIRE- A Flip Flopping Toss-Up!!

Post by geots »

Komodo 64 SSE Version 4 vs Fire 2.2 xTreme GH x64

Intel i5 w/4TCs
Fritz 11 gui
1CPU/64bit

128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games

Code: Select all

1   Komodo64 SSE Version 4   +7    +12/-11/=27   51.00%   25.5/50
2   Fire 2.2 xTreme GH x64   -7    +11/-12/=27   49.00%   24.5/50

It would take way more than one match to decide the stronger engine here.
And the match to follow in a couple minutes is almost a carbon copy of what you see here.

Bringing another match-

Fire 2.2 seems really strong. Does anyone knows why engine is not available for download anymore ?
