Ivanhoe B47cCx64 vs Komodo64 SSE Version 4

First time I have ever run this version in any "bit size". I wonder if it needed a third "c".

Intel i5 w/4TCs
Fritz 11 gui
1CPU/64bit

128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
40/3 Repeating
Match=50 games

Code: Select all

1   Ivanhoe B47cCx64         +7    +14/-13/=23   51.00%   25.5/50
2   Komodo64 SSE Version 4   -7    +13/-14/=23   49.00%   24.5/50

Current Standings
------------------

Code: Select all

Komodo64 SSE Version 4:

1 Ivanhoe B46e x64      +92    +21/-8/=21
2 Ivanhoe 46h x64       +14    +16/-14/=20
3 Ivanhoe B46a x64      +7     +12/-11/=27
4 Ivanhoe B47cCx64      +7     +14/-13/=23
5 Ivanhoe B46fC x64      0     +11/-11/=28
6 IvanHoe T52E SSE4.2    0     +9/-9/=32

That is 6 done and 2 baking in the oven-

Let me say again, so there is no misunderstanding. As Komodo is a commercial engine which Don and Larry have done wonderful things with. To be using Komodo is a tribute to both of them and their work. I pick an engine I have never had one issue with. And don't get hung up on all the results. 50 games at 64bit and no other data mean little except in rare instances. Most matches could all have gone either way.

And when Don and Larry release the next version, I will be the first in line (and maybe a nice discount due to giving Versions 3 and 4 good exposure :D :roll:)

Anyway, it is one of my fav engines.

Hi George, can you tell me what is the most agressive Ivanhoe version? Thank you!

Why the hard ones? That is really, really tough. I mean really! I would have to say of all those I have ever seen, it is a special version of PPs (Izak's) that was never really structured for release. Instead of stopping to check and get the version name exactly right- I believe I know it- B46fD, without question! He even commented about running it against B46fC. He said probably the aggressive style caused it to fall way behind, and then the aggressive style caused it to go on a crazy run and even the score. He said he didn't care what anyone else thought about it- he put it together for his enjoyment. If anyone deserves enjoyment from an engine it would be Isak- with as much as he has given us.

Heading to get some sleep-
