New Versions-New Matches-Old Scores!!

Post by geots »

40x2 good for you v Strelka 5.5 x64

A very good result for this new 40x version! And the enormity of it caught me a bit off guard. Tho probably the score is a bit inflated. Note the time control change!

Intel i5 w/4TCs
Fritz 11 gui
1CPU/64bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit

5'+5"
Match=100 games

Code: Select all

1   40x2 good for you   +35    +24/-14/=62   55.00%   55.0/100
2   Strelka 5.5 x64     -35    +14/-24/=62   45.00%   45.0/100

Houdini 2.0c x64 v 40x2 good for you

I think most anyone knows this result is quite a bit inflated as well- but it does bring back the same well-worn question. What exactly does it take to handle Houdini? I certainly have no clue.
