A Truly Private Engine- Rainbow 1.0 beta!

Rainbow 1.0 beta v Critter 1.4a 64-bit SSE4

Asked if I would run a few independent tests with this program- previous testing had not satisfied the author. According to him- his name- Roy G. Biv- I suppose that is his attempt at humor. (Least he could have sent a logo- dammit. Where is Jim Ablett when I need him?)

Intel i5 w/4TCs
Fritz 11 gui
1CPU/64bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
5'+5"
Match=50 games

Code: Select all

1   Rainbow 1.0 beta            +49    +15/-8/=27   57.00%   28.5/50
2   Critter 1.4a 64-bit SSE4    -49    +8/-15/=27   43.00%   21.5/50

Rainbow 1.0 beta v Strelka 5.1 x64

Intel i5 w/4TCs
Fritz 13 gui
1CPU/64bit
128MB hash
Bases=NONE
Ponder_Learning=OFF
Perfect 12.32 book w/12-move limit
5'+5"
Match=50 games

Code: Select all

1   Rainbow 1.0 beta    +56    +15/-7/=28   58.00%   29.0/50
2   Strelka 5.1 x64     -56    +7/-15/=28   42.00%   21.0/50

Not too bad for its initial matches. Fairly impressive I would have to say. Shall we see more?

Be back later-

Nice Results ... ;-)

Before Testing This Private Engine, Do You Try It With SIM03W64 To See Similarity To Other Engines ??

Have you tested Rainbow 1.0 beta versus 40x(2) Good For You?

I expect carnage.
