The Beasts of Chess 4 tournament

Hi,

i play a series of tournaments called "The Beasts of Chess".
All Engines runs on a i7 2600 with 3.4 Ghz without book, but starting in special interesting positions.
All MP Engines use 2 Cores, Single 1 Core, x64 4GB Hash, 32-bit 2GB Hash, all 5 TBs are available on SSD, Ponder = On

At the moment the 4. tournament is running starting from the starting position of chess. Time Control is 150 min + 30s
Each Engine playing against all other 2 times....
so this tour will take some time maybe until end of August...

The 1. Game Chess Tiger 2007 vs Houdini 1.5a x64 is running with live broadcast in chessbase server....

Game 2: Critter 1.4a vs Stockfish 2.2.2 is running they play a French Opening very interesting.....

Thanks Graham,

i took more than 1 Version of some engines like Fritz, Junior, Critter into the tour, so you can watch how big was the differnces between the versions.
Another issue is the Contemp value, some of my engine testing give me results that seems that contemp = 0 is not the best value for Junior.
So the Junior Versions here play with different contemp Values.
DJ 12.5 : Contemp 8
DJ 13 : Contemp 15 (which is the best i think)
DJ 13.3 : Contemp 0

Should be interesting to see how things turn out then.
I've always been of the opinion that contempt=0 is the best all round setting for every engine.

Game 6: Deep Junior 13 vs Gandalf 6: game is running at the moment, all but a clear win of Junior would be a big surprise....
