Bouquet 1.4pop x64 vs Zappa Mexico II x64
50-game match has begun with the above 2 engines. Both engines are running on 1 core at 40/4 repeating. I wanted this match because I like Velmarin and I have only played a couple games with 1.2 or 1.4- but I have been impressed. I am planning on a really nice tournament coming up this week, and I wanted to get this match in first. I only hope the competition I picked here will give a good match- as I have not seen many Bouquet results- and where Zappa is rated depends on which day of the week you ask. It should be finished in maybe 10 or 12 hours, and of course I will post results.
Once again the prevailing complete PGN links from Houdini 2.0c and Komodo5:
40/40 Repeating (50 games):

40/4 Repeating (200 games):

These links will both be good thru July 31st.

Look, I appreciate your comments. But please don't comment yet about what I am going to say now. I was thinking that this HAD TO be a great competitive match. Zappa Mexico II has been tested enough, and it comes in at 2873 in CCRL at 1CPU 64-bit. And your Bouquet 1.2 1CPU 64-bit in the same list is rated at 2864. Even tho not enough games from 1.2, when I used that as a basis for assuming the Zappa and update Bouquet 1.4 would be a good match- I took "statistical noise" to a whole 'nuther level. "Nuther" being in the category with "ya'll". Well, there are 10 games left out of the 50, and at 40/3 repeating (benched to adapt to official 40/4), they will go fairly fast. If this was any type of 40/40 I would call the dogs on this one right now. Way more than enough blood has been spilled already, and I don't have a cleaning lady. There is no easy way to say it, so when this 10 games is completed, I will post the results and "they are what they are". I seriously doubt anyone will be asking for a PGN link.
Back sooner than later.

I will be posting the results of this match very soon. Nothing has changed. I suppose if someone wants the PGNs they can have them. But it would have to be people who enjoyed stopping at bad auto wrecks because they enjoyed seeing mangled, dead bodies. "Yuck!" Right now I am in the process of going thru those mangled dead to make sure the results are accurate.
And yes, I went thru ALL OF MY RESULTS in the past year, and I did find 1 match where an engine scored a lower percentage in a 50-game match than happened here. But just once. And I sort of expected that one. This time I was caught off guard a bit.
Let me finish-
