Deep Hiarcs 14 4CPU Gauntlets

Post by Graham Banks »

I'm running some Deep Hiarcs 14 4CPU gauntlets for the CCRL 40/4 list.

They can be followed live move by move in Playchess or in TLCV (GrahamCCRL.dyndns.org Port 16084).

Hiarcs just lost because of a strange move Bf6 ??? there should be a bug somewhere ... the position is draw according to TB and HIARCS still have some time ...

Unfortunately, it only has access to 5 piece tablebases. That coupled with the 40/3 time control could have been its undoing?

Such games are not counted towards the ratings. They are automatically filtered out due to the bad opening line.
Unfortunately, most opening books have disastrous lines that are somehow included.
