Problem this gave me- this victory propelled Murka into 1st place, where a draw or loss would have left him in 3rd place and out of the running. But the fates were with me, because at the point of the time loss, Murka was up approaching 6 points- with 2 extra pawns and up a full piece as well.
Actually, Typhoon finished 2nd, but he and Kiwi have no one to blame but themselves. Both fell apart at the end- combining for 1 win and a total of only 2.5 points out of 8.0 between the both of them combined. Whereas Murka alone won 2 and drew 1 in the final 4 rounds- scoring the same total alone as Typhoon and Kiwi combined!
Which meant they were all 3 bunched at the top with 20 wins each, and Kiwi is left out due to the tiebreaker rule! On to it:
