I'm at the stage I want to test my endgame. So for now I'm not probing any egtb's (though plan to), I would like to see how my engine fairs against others in various endgame positions.
Figured to make the test accurate, it would be nice to have a nice database of neutral positions where either person really has a chance.
Does such a list exist?

Re: FEN database of neutral EGTB positions
I recall this project, Kirill launched 4 years ago:
http://kirill-kryukov.com/chess/discuss ... hp?p=29909
Most testpositions have a bestmove, which is not trivially found without EGTB access.
