FREEWARE Final: Group 3 Ends- Rounds 27 thru 30!

Almost sad to see this one end. Well- BugChess2 and Frenzee as usual were strong and ended in a dead heat. Not a lot has ever separated these 2. Jonny came on in the end and showed he was where he should be. And of course Bobcat, Dirty, Arasan, etc. made definite fine showing. The only thing holding DiscoCheck back is the name change it doesn't like and the logos it misses.

Crafty was 1/2 point behind Naraku going into the final 4 rounds. Crafty lost in Round 27- Naraku drew. Then in Round 28 Crafty with the black pieces did what he had to- beat Naraku. Now they are dead even. But Crafty could not hold it together in the last 2 rounds.

I know gaviota and Godel are capable of playing much better than this- they have nothing to be ashamed of. If there was a wild card in the group- it would be Naraku. I had never run a game with that engine before. It certainly seems to be strong.
